Hanky Mania!

I spun some silk hankies, also known as Mawata’s.
They are squares of silk and you draft them and then you spin them. Or you knit with them without spinning.

Beautiful colours!

I spun a single, to use for plying later on.

244 m of cobweb, only 10 grams of fibre.
I parked them on a carton roll, using my clever trick to find the new end when the thread broke mid winding.
